Lady Gaga Debuts Creepy, Nude Ad For New ‘Fame’ Fragrance
By Tiffany Lee | Stop The Presses!
Leave it to Lady Gaga to take what could be a tasteful nude and make it as creepy as possible. To promote her debut fragrance called Fame (presumably named after her first album The Fame), the perfume's freshly released print ad features a completely nude Gaga barely covered by strategically placed tiny men crawling all over her!
This certainly isn't the first time that Lady Gaga has appeared practically nude, regularly flashing the goods in strange and skimpy couture pieces and even baring her breasts in fashion editorials (all artfully done, of course). But the fact that Gaga expressed some apprehension about her Fame ad via Twitter makes the image all the more intriguing. If the queen of shock pop is a little nervous, we all should brace ourselves.
The singer tweeted, "i won't lie I'm a bit nervous. its been a while since i've shared some work with you. But i'm so proud of Steven+I, we really did not sleep! (sic)." She's referring to Steven Meisel, the famed photographer who has shot everything from the highest ends of fashion, the biggest celebrities and perhaps most notoriously Madonna's endlessly controversial Sex book. Gaga's Fame ad seems to be a perfect pairing of Meisel's stunning aesthetic and Gaga's twisted taste.
At first glance the ad looks like a "Birth of Venus" body beautiful nude of Lady Gaga with something like tarantulas crawling all over her. But upon closer inspection, the infestation are a hoard of body-by-Zeus, Robert Mapplethorpe-esque muscle men free climbing the singer's body. Gaga looks great. The men individually look great. But the way everything was superimposed, the ad could only be the most gratuitous fetish fantasy for some, or a terrifying nightmare for others--not much room for any shade of gray. Just the way Gaga intended, surely
Fame will come in two sizes, a more affordable small size to be priced at about $30 and a large size dubbed "Le Masterpiece" expected to be priced at more than $70. Fame will hit stores in September and is promoted as being the very first black-colored eau de parfum that will become invisible once sprayed.
Although the creepy, yet intriguing black and white ad may align more with initial reports of Gaga's debut fragrance being inspired by blood and sperm, luckily for Little Monsters the scent will have more of a traditional "floral and fruity" fragrance.

Sage Stallone, eldest son of Sylvester Stallone, found dead at 36
By Matt McDaniel | Movie Talk
Sage Moonblood Stallone, the 36-year-old son of Sylvester Stallone who starred alongside his father in "Rocky V," was found dead in his Hollywood apartment on Friday. The New York Post confirmed his passing with his attorney George Braunstein. Sources tell The Post that he likely died of an overdose of pills, and that a representative of the LAPD stated, "There is no suspicion of foul play or criminal activity."
Sage Stallone was Sylvester Stallone's eldest son from his first marriage to Sasha Czack (they divorced in 1985). Sage is survived by his brother Seargeoh, and his three half-sisters Sophia, Sistine, and Scarlet.
Sage made his film debut playing Robert Balboa, Rocky's son, in 1990's "Rocky V" when he was 14 years old. The film was both a critical and financial disappointment, with Sylvester Stallone telling The Sun in 2010 that the reason he made the sequel was "I'm greedy — what can I tell you... It was a mistake because the audience didn't want to see the downside of the character. They wanted him to remain on top."
Sage also appeared with his father in 1996's "Daylight," but that year also saw him give up acting to be one of the co-founders of Grindhouse Releasing. Along with his partner, Oscar-winning film editor Bob Murawski, Sage Stallone's company restored and re-released forgotten exploitation films from the 1970s and '80s. Grindhouse Releasing partnered with Quentin Tarantino to bring Lucio Fulci's horror film "The Beyond" to screens in 2010.
Reportedly, Sage turned down the chance to reprise his role of Rocky's son in 2006's "Rocky Balboa" to focus on his burgeoning career and a director and producer. The character was played in the sixth film by Milo Ventimiglia (TV's "Heroes").
Sylvester Stallone has not yet released a comment. Just yesterday the elder Stallone appeared at Comic-Con International in San Diego, CA to promote his upcoming action film "The Expendables 2." Stallone was joined on stage by Arnold Schwarzenegger, who makes his first appearance since leaving the office as governor of California in the movie.

Jennifer Lopez says she's leaving 'American Idol,' too
By Claudine Zap | Yahoo! TV
Jennifer Lopez called in to "On Air With Ryan Seacrest" today to tearfully confirm that she is leaving "American Idol." After two years as a judge on the reality TV show, she said, "The time has come."
The announcement comes just one day after Steven Tyler said that he will not return next season. There have been reports that Randy Jackson is stepping down as a judge, too, and that Mariah Carey is in talks to join as a judge.
J. Lo was conflicted about her decision, telling Seacrest (who hosts "Idol"), "It's been a long thought process. I really have been torn... but even last year, it was super tough to decide. Something has to give. That's where I am right now."
She added, "You know, I was really dreading this phone call with you. I honestly feel that the time has come that I have to get back to doing the other things that I do that I've put on hold because I love 'Idol' so much." She said, "I have to come back to, like ... you have a lot of other responsibilities and things that you do. You have to pay attention to do that, too. I just feel like we had an amazing run."
Seacrest responded, "You've made up your mind. If you are leaving the show, I'm sad, but I understand you've got to do what's best for you and your family."
Lopez added, "It's really going to be hard to go. It's one of those special things."

Steven Tyler Is Leaving American Idol
Us Weekly
American Idol will be a little less rockin' when season 12 premieres later this year.
Sources tell Us Weekly Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler will not return to his seat at the judges' panel alongside Jennifer Lopez and Randy Jackson. Joining Idol in 2010, Tyler, 64, spiced up the FOX hit with his out-there antics, including his infamous "f--k a duck and see what hatches" catchphrase, and his penchant for pretty teen girls in miniskirts.
News of Tyler's exit comes mere hours after Lopez hinted that she'd also be on her way out the Idol door.
"Little by little I'm making up my mind," Lopez, 42, told TODAY's Natalie Morales during a Thursday chat discussing her role in Ice Age: Continental Drift. "I love everybody, I love the guys [Jackson, Tyler and host Ryan Seacrest], but I am thinking it's time for me to go and do other things I love to do like films."
No official announcement has been made on the future of Tyler, Lopez -- or Idol's third judge, Jackson -- but there has been much chatter about who's on the shortlist of judge replacements. Among the top contenders: Fergie, Mariah Carey, and season 8's Idol runner-up Adam Lambert.
FOX had no comment on this story when reached Thursday.

The record is held by "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2," which earned a staggering $43.5 million in midnight shows last year, on its way to a $169.2 million opening weekend, the second-best ever.
In May, Disney and Marvel's "Avengers" took in $18.7 million from midnight shows at roughly 2,500 screens -- $1.3 million from 273 Imax screens -- on its way to biggest opening weekend ever at $207.4 million.
