Puerto Rican singer, Ricky Martin and her boyfriend Carlos Gonzalez, will be married on January 28 in New York.
City of New York in June last year approved the marriage between homosexual couples.
Since he announced himself as a homosexual in March 2010 – 40-year-old Ricky on December 24, 2011 – expressed his support for marriage between same-sex sex, according to newspaper El Nuevo him.
Ricky also said he supports gay marriage while in Puerto Rico, a country that still forbids it. He mentions homosexuality in itself is a “gift”.
“What I want to say is that they reject the discrimination so that equality can become a reality in my country,” said Ricky.
